“Green Drinks China” is a Shanghai-based non-profit that is taking action on environmental issues in China – a country that happens to be the world’s worst polluter. GDC offers schools and universities a School Outreach Program, which helps increase environmental awareness and promote real action. Why focus on schools, you may ask, when it’s large companies and factories that are responsible for most environmental pollution in China? Well, Green Drinks believes that helping kids learn about the environment early on can make them more environmentally-responsible adults. In addition, children tend to take what they learn at school and talk about it at home, and there is no better place to start making changes than in one’s own home.

WILDDESIGN has also found its way to help GDC make Shanghai a greener city, and recently started creating a new design for Green Drinks China website. A good website for an organization like GDC is very important, as it’s the main link between the organizers and the community. We hope that the new website will help bring people together to make Shanghai and all of China a greener, healthier and happier place!
