Even if the project team has done everything right, a wrong product may be created in the end. One of the reasons might be that there is no target group for the product, the target persons do not like it or the market for the development is different than initially thought. The difference here is therefore between "doing everything right" and "doing the right thing".
In order to produce the "right" thing, the team has to work out the objective carefully. First and foremost, the target group has to be identified. Tests in market research show how the product is accepted. Usability tests are also appropriate. A product with a great design will not find a market if it is not applicable or impractical for the intended use.
