Writing down and documenting every single work step is time-consuming and disrupts the workflow. But if the events are recorded incompletely, the path to the goal is no longer comprehensible in the end. Even if the final result is properly documented, the second attempt might not be as successful as the first. If problems occur, the cause cannot be easily determined.
A process can only be traced by sufficient recording. In this way, the path to the final result is also understandable for another team member and problems can be identified based on the individual steps. The documentation of the work should then be filed properly. Clear agreements in a team about which steps are recorded and in which form the employees save them are essential.
