Paneltalk And MEET our Experts
From 16.11. the world's largest medical technology trade fair MEDICA/COMPAMED will open its doors for 4 days, this time unfortunately only virtually. We still have no idea if this will be nearly as much fun as the live event, but we will give it a chance.
Two highlights this time:
- on 16.11. starting at 12.00 there will be a panel talk under the well-known event series Healthcare Drinks with top-class participants from Europe and China. Topic: Changes in Europe - China Medical Device Industry Trade. We will be issuing a special invitation to this event shortly.
- Over the 4 days of the fair we will once again join forces with our partner BYTEC Medizintechnik and say: MEET OUR EXPERTS. One-on-one conversations in zoom format on the topics medical design, usability, hard-/software development, contract manufacturing and more. A separate invitation will also be available here shortly.
We are looking forward to finally seeing you again, at least virtually!

FASTER THAN REALTIME.....
...or - a safety belt for the ankle joint. With this innovative idea, SPORTOMEDIX developed an effective aid for the protection of vulnerable or pre-damaged ankle joints. A new type of adaptor, which reacts three times faster than the body, allows complete freedom of movement and load, even with pre-damaged joints. With the support of our Munich team, a functional prototype was turned into a groundbreaking new medical device, which received the PLUS X AWARD, red dot and GERMAN INNOVATION AWARD in 2020.

ICA - HERO21 AMONG THE TOP 13 INNOVATIONS OF 2020
Great success for our customer and our design team - the news magazine FOCUS confirms: With the HERO21 disinfection robot, ICA presents a very innovative approach in the fight against the corona pandemic - and other dangerous pathogens. As part of the Burda initiative #AufbruchZukunft, the magazine has launched an innovation award together with LIQUI MOLY. The high-caliber jury - including German Health Minister Jens Spahn - has now shortlisted HERO21 among the top 13 of a total of 500 entries. Our case study will follow shortly.
