BeWell - feel well!

Challenge

Hong Kong client BeWell was ready to introduce a unique product. Based in Traditional Chinese Medicine, BeWell had developed a painless, non-intrusive, non-medicinal laser therapy for daily use to increase blood circulation and cardiovascular health. Yet a complete product design was needed, with a focus on ergonomics and brand elements like packaging design and communication materials.

Approach

The two thinnest skin areas for laser penetration are between the fingers and inside the nose. Therefore, we created a device for each of these two areas. WILDDESIGN’s German team began by conducting several user studies for optimal ergonomics and user interface input for the product design execution. We needed to meet usability requirements for all the different user groups, while creating an intuitive and stylish design for home care.

Result

We built a sleek and high-tech product design, with modern ergonomics and user interface that emphasizes the high quality of its German laser technology, while giving this home care product a professional medical device look. The brand elements use the medical color of blue in several shades, in playful circular patterns that suggest blood cells, inviting the user to have a warm and pleasant experience with the product.
