Customizing the pharmacy

challenge

The Apostore 3000 picking system is a highly integrated, compact machine designed for quick storage and dispensing of medication packages. Thanks to a modular design, the size can be customized to specific storage volumes and spaces.

The advanced functional elements for storage and retrieval can be arranged flexibly in a logical grid. As in a modern kitchen, the individual modules together create a distinctive appearance that also promotes the brand.

We used real wood veneer and stainless steel to transform this capital asset into a design object with high design quality.

approach and results

The partnership between Apostore and Wilddesign made this project a great success. With the keywords “customizing” and “interior”, a clear focus was defined on making the product as attractive as possible to highly diverse customer requirements.

This quality also won the 2011 iF Award and was nominated for the 2012 Design Award of Germany 2012.
