Amovida | ergonomic product design in the rehabilitation area

Amovida Motion Comfort+ is a high-tech seat cushion, specially developed for prophylaxis against increased pressure ulcer risk of wheelchair users (risk of chronic poorly healing wound due to a pressure ulcer). Materials such as silicon for pressure relief with phase change material for temperature control and braided textile to regulate the seat climate were combined in a sandwich construction. A foam core with shock absorbing functionality relieves pressure. The ergonomic handle position and the 3-sided zipper allow easy handling for the user and the caregiver. The design and choice of materials are designed for use in dynamically demanding power wheelchair area.
