A high utilization of the employees is desired in order to work effectively. However, an exact workload is not specified in planning, so that high and low workloads often alternate. The phases of high capacity utilization above 100% should not gain the upper hand.

 

Countermeasures

If a team member is permanently overloaded, the person in this situation notices fastest. Therefore one should become active, if one feels symptoms of overload. Together with team members, you should consider how to compensate for the overload. A too high workload should not become permanent.
