Datacolor Packaging

challenge

The DATACOLOR range of products for color calibration is relied on by professional and semi-professional users throughout the world. The existing product packaging had been in service for several years and it was imperative to rejuvenate the packaging design and to define an optimized packaging concept. In addition, printed materials were developed in 13 languages and had to be integrated into the packaging design.

approach

We explored new opportunities in the packaging structure to better protect the products and created new graphical layouts that were consistent with the entire product line. With strong technical support, we developed several mock-ups in order to achieve a good balance between "in-shelf” product presentation, the unpacking experience and product protection.

results

The product packaging - including a plastic blister - allows safe shipment of the products. The display of the packaging has become much more attractive, with consistency in the overall perception of the complete line of products.

Project outcomes

  • Innovative packaging concept
  • Design of product line packaging
  • Multilingual print inserts
