Inspiration is also important for the whole team. If a project is running over a long period, uniformity can lead to comfort in thinking and acting. The project manager has to think about whether there is enough dynamism and movement in his team. If there is a lack of diversity of opinions in his team which leads to some friction, boredom will arise.
Diverse opinions, stimulating discussions, praise and recognition, but also critical inquiries - these are the ingredients for an inspired team. Employees should address problems and challenge each other. This can lead to unpleasant situations, but these discussions are necessary. Within the team, there should always be the role of the devil’s advocate who also addresses negative aspects of a project. Only in this way, risks or problems can be identified and resolved.
