Autoland

The car is Germany’s favorite child; at least a part of the German family. On saturdays it gets washed and hand polished to a high gloss. However, political ecological pressure to introduce a speed limit is still resisted by the public.

Methods of Mobility

Logistics of transport: 71% road / 17& railways / 9% waterways / 3% tubes Overall traffic: 50% cars / 16% pedestrians / 12%buse / 9% rail / 9% bike / 1% motorbike / 3% misc.

Auto-Emancipation

In the past, getting your own car on your 18th birthday was a MUST. The next generation is happier with a different lifestyle. Flexibility and mobility are defined today by many options for cheap travel, such as bicycles, trains, car sharing or low-cost flights, to explore even the most remote corners of the globe. The car will be demystified, tolls will be levied and speed limits will possibly be introduced.
