Halloween at WILDDESIGN

By Miriam, 06. November 2015

Coming from so many different countries (currently more than 10!) and backgrounds, we celebrate many different holidays. In our Shanghai office we successfully combine various Chinese and Western festivals. The more occasions to celebrate the better, right?!

Although, it’s Chinese New Year and Christmas that are the two most important days in our calendar, this year our Shanghai team decided to get some extra fun and celebrate Halloween too!

We didn’t just throw a simple office party. We did it in WILDDESIGN style, which means we designed our own pumpkins!

As with any ‘serious’ design project, we proceeded with a quick research, some templates and a set of professional carving tools!

Some went for scary Halloween patterns, some for robots, and some for their twin brothers…

The process of carving was more difficult than we had expected and pumpkins turned out to be fairly heavy monsters, daggers were flying, blades and saws cutting sharply, but no one got hurt!

Later on, we carved our names on pumpkins!

With a drill!
